Good Wine at a Good Price

If you live in Desert Aire you know the local vineyards, and if your anything like me you love wine. Even during this economy I haven't skipped a glass at dinner after a long day.

Recently I read an article by Seattle Times writer Paul Gregutt. The article focused on Washington Wine and made a lengthy mention of Milbrandt Vineyards. He said, "Good wine at a good price, that's the standard of value in these tough times"

Check out the complete article at the link below;

Putting off the Course

If you are like me the concept of synthetic grass seems odd, almost laughable. Perhaps its just being from the Northwest where things are so flush and green all year round made it hard to appreciate. But last summer we actually did research the possibility of synthetic grass after the sprinkler system failed for the third time, with no explanation. Luckily my dad is a third generation farmer and was able to help us get it back to a lush green.

Today I was alerted of a company out of Kennewick that can install indoor and outdoor applications of putting greens with the finest artificial grass and synthetic turf in the industry. They also install full turf and grass yards, Tee Lines and have worked on large commercial application.

With free quotes and availability to work in Desert Aire it might just be the solution many of us are looking for. Give them a call (509)734-8988

Fishing Tip

It was one of those cold days we had this winter when old man Frank walked out onto a frozen lake up north, cut a hole in the ice and dropped in his fishing line. He was there for almost an hour, without even a nibble, when a young boy walked out onto the ice. He cut a hole in the ice not far from Frank. The young boy dropped his fishing line and minutes later hooked a Largemouth Bass.

The old man couldn't believe his eyes but chalked it up to plain luck. But, shortly thereafter, the young boy pulled in another large catch.

The young boy kept catching fish after fish. Finally, the old man couldn't take it any longer. "Son, I've been here for over an hour without even a nibble. You've been here only a few minutes and have caught a halfdozen fish! How do you do it?"

The boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm."

"What was that?" the old man asked.

Again the boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rarrm."

"Look," said the old man, "I can't understand a word you're saying."

The boy spit the contents of his mouth into his hand and said, "You have to keep the worms warm!"
